Hello all. Kari I believe you asked how Nestle was doing just recently. Well we had a good old fashioned blizzard here today and have about 2 feet fallen so far, with another 10-12" expected.
While out clearing the snow, Nestles next door friends were out and I got some great shots.
These are 2 of the next door neighbors kids who watch Nestle while I am at work, Eva & Jarrod
Here is an image from last year of the town center after a snow storm like this. Its one of my favorites
Glad to know you are surviving this wonderful storm. I love that last picture - man, you could make a Christmas card out of that - it's gorgeous!
We were supposed to get maybe 12 inches, yeah right, let's see - by 2pm we had over 15-18inches, still coming down, blowing like crazy. We are in this weird spot, Saco is on the coast, but we are inland more in the country part of town and we don't always get the snow like the coast does - even 20 min away. I have some pictures, but, I don't know how to post. NOt as fun as yours.
Wow Theresa your close in Saco, that's only a 45 minute drive from here. We are going to have to grab a lunch in the nicer weather. I vacation near Brunswick every year in Georgetown.
Yeah they really blew the forecast on this one. We will easily hit 3 feet. Hopefully we will have our streets plowed by tomorrow so I can get to work.
Nice pictures Joe, especially the last one of the church, do I understand it well, the church is white because of the snow? It almost looks like a fairytale. And it is always great to see any picture of Nurse Nestle. She seems to enjoy the snow.

Terrific photos Joe!!!!!! Nestle's pure joy is evident - I could feel it and it made me laugh. In the first photo, I could swear I see her tail wagging. Thanks so much for sharing. I fondly recall photos we took of Rusty enjoying our 3 foot snowfall last year.
You know, before MC I was a warm weather fan, but now I really prefer winter. I just seem to feel so much better in the cold crisp air than in the heat and humidity.
Harma, loved the sliding dogs! Funny!
Love,
Polly
P.S. Here's a tummy rub for Nestle ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
What totally joyful pictures - Nurse Nestle is obviously in heaven . Thanks so much for sharing them - they are brightening my evening.
Love,
Kari
P.S. The way you described her playing in the snow in an earlier post reminded me of the Black Lab we used to have years ago - he was also crazy about playing in the snow and was so much fun to watch.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the pics. This was one of those living in the moment days.
Harma the picture with the church came out really well. I took that with my Nikon D300 and had aperture priority set and used a long exposure. It was taken at dusk. The church is painted white and has a fair amount of light around it from street lights and spot lights. The gazebo is lit from the inside. When I played with the length of the exposure I did get this really nice photo. I actually took about 30 shots before getting it right. With the long exposure you get that magical quality in the photo
Harma that's a great link of the dogs who like to body slide, pretty funny.
Nestle is lucky to have the family next door to take care of her while I am at work. Jarrod comes over every day to take her out and play etc.. Eva and her mom take Nestle for frequent walks in the nicer weather.
Anyway nothing to do with MC just some nice photos today. I am due to write up an update on my current meds diet etc..
