hi EVERYBODY-----

Post by barbaranoela »

Have been catching on most of the post------whew!!!!!!! and greetings to alllllllll the newerBees----I know U will find a gazzillion posts to help U get back on that *wellness road*------

I can say that we are really happy to be in AZ. due to the weather that keeps beating most of U guys------but of course---even tho we are not *native* Arizonians --L and I have become so involved with the dreaded gunning attack that took place here---
That day shall always remain deep inside of me---=and of all the people that protected anyone standing by them---

Doug is fine----we go to his place more than he comes into the city----cant blame him---it is so calm where he lives--in the desert with all the creepy- crawling creatures--- --but of course miss the dogs that would run to greet us -when Doug would say here;s granny and grandpa--- they were our first greeters----but alas --as we all know the time comes when your best animal family arent there to run out and jump up with Xcitement when they see U------

And--of course--we are sharing with all Arizonians the shooting that took place--a very very horrid action on the part of this person that evidentally was in need of help----

So, shall say *so long* for now-------and once again best wishes for all to have a happy--healthy New Year

Good to hear from you Barbara. Yes, the shooting incident was horrible - how close were you to where it occurred?

Take care and enjoy your time in AZ.

Love,

Hi Mrs. Columbo,

Yep, living in the Southwest is much simpler than living in the Northeast, this time of year.

I hope everything is going smoothly, otherwise.

It's good to see an update from you.

Yep - your weather is by far better.

Hi Barbara,
My family lives in Tucson (I spent half my life there before moving to Vermont over 20 years ago) and we all share your thoughts on the horrible shooting. He is indeed a very sick person and I am sorry to see this tragedy made into something political.
My mom and sister were also devastated by the shooting.
I hope you keep enjoying the weather, we just had about a foot of snow here in Vermont.
Where in Az. does Doug live? My fiancee and I are thinking of spending winters back in Az. after we retire, but dont want to live in a big city like Tucson. Over 20 years in Vermont has made gotten me to the point where I cannot tolerate a city of over 8000 people, at least not to live in. I crave the quiet, peace, and nature (including the critters), so I am very interested to know where Doug lives.

Andi,

In case Barbara doesn't see your post, you may have to PM or e-mail her. I'm pretty sure that Doug lives outside of Tucson, but I have no idea in which direction.

Glad to hear from you, Barbara. Glad that you are missing all the snow back east.

It was wonderful to hear that you had spoken to Liz and that she is OK (from your other post).
