All this GM research is for the birds... literally
This really sounds like a fowl idea...

One more thing to check on the food label... assuming they tell us
Chicken is one of my main staple foods, I have it at least 6 meals a week.

WHAT????
"For example, food safety for us is about a bacteria found in chickens called Campylobacter which makes 500,000 people ill each year.
"If we could develop a GM chicken that is resistant to Campylobacter it would be very interesting indeed to see how consumers saw that technology and whether it was a technology they would be willing to embrace".
This is one consumer that will not embrace, or buy it.
Thanks for posting that Joe. I enjoyed chicken for dinner this evening.
Love,
Joanna

As someone else mentioned, I look forward to the day that a food or meat label says-
“THIS IS AN UNNATURAL PRODUCT”
Oh well!

Joe Dear--
Did you really have to post this today? When I am starting a new med?
I'm not going to rant about GMO's. I'm not going to rant about GMO's. I'm not going to rant about GMO's.
Just kidding--thanks for the heads up--and all of your support.

UGH, more GM plans. They scare me to death. One day I fear there will no longer be anything I can safely eat.
Thanks for sharing, Joe.
Love,
Polly

Still happy I buy chicken from the local Amish Farmer. They are slowly eliminating the food we can east as Polly said.
