more good news

Post by harma »

. I have more good news to share. And maybe useful for others. I have been writing here before, that I can't stand anything tight around my waist, I haven't been wearing jeans in about 5 years
But I found a solution (and please don't laugh or do if it sounds funny), my solution is pregnancy clothes (and no I am not pregnant and don't have any plans in that direction). I had been walking around with this idea for quite a while and today I passed a shop 30 minutes before closing time and thought why not give it a try. I explained the lady why I was, not being pregnant, in her shop. And she was very nice, She told me I was not the first one with this kind of problem. I tried on some trousers and believe me they are perfect. They fit me perfect on the legs and hips and for the belly there is that soft stretch band. This also fits okay with a non-pregnant belly. If I have it on, you don't see the difference with a normal one. Yes it made me very happy.

It is still sale here, so I am going to try out all the other pregnancy shops in town and see I can find some other trousers.
If you are a woman and struggle with the same problem, I would suggest find a pregnancy clothes shop and give it a try.
It may sound stupid or simple, but for me this is quite an important thing, be able to wear a jeans or tight trousers again after such a long time.

i can sense your delight in finding comfy clothes!

it is an important thing , i have had to buy skirts 1 -2 sizes bigger for my work outfits to cope with the days i am bloated
as soon as i get home from work i change into my pj's, there have been days on the weekends or if i am home unwell, i get up, have a shower put a new set of pj's on and stay in them for the day.
