Back in Hong Kong

Post by ant »

Dear All

I am back in Hong Kong. Sorry to have been away for so long. I see thousands of posts :work2: so I will have to catch up from here.....

Welcome to all the newbees. :welcome:

For the last four days I have tapered from one entocort a day to one every other day. So far OK, mostly two firm or firmish BMs a day (just one loose - but not D - this morning).

I have found a health food shop two minutes from my flat......Has anyone else tried "All Natural 'Al fresco' Sweet apple Chicken Sausage with pure Vermont maple syrup"? It distributed by Kayem Foods Inc. The ingredients are listed as: "skinless chicken meat, pure maple syrup, evaporated cane juice, dread apples (unsulfered), salt, lemon juice, spices, in a natural pork casing".

I had two for breakfast and hope I can tolerate them. Delicious...I have not had sausages for two years!

All best, ant

Wow, Hong Kong! Thanks for the welcome. This is really the only place I feel I'm getting any real support for my CC. Thanks again!

Welcome back, Ant!

I can't remember if I've eaten that particular brand in the past, but the ingredients sound OK. I hope you can add them to your diet.

Good to see you again and good news that the MC is behaving. How is Mom doing?

Dear Foxhound,

Yup, this is the best place to get support. If you are interested I am one of those successfully using a generic entocort - Budez CR.

Dear Gloria, Mary Beth, Polly, Joe, Joan

Thanks for the welcome back. Polly my mother's dementia is slowly getting worse, but still quite strong physically. We had a good Christmas and New Year in UK.

Hello Ant!!!

Glad you made it safely back to Hong Kong with all the weird weather world wide. (What a wad of W's!)

I am doing the same as you, down to 1 Entocort every second day and so far holding pretty well... just a bit softer than usual. I'm sending my wishes for your continued success in tapering.

HI Ant, welcome back, we have all missed you here. great you are still doing okay and were able to temper down your entocort. I hope it will this way. Are you now 100% back in business concerning your work?

Hi Ant,

It's great to see you back posting again, and it's even better to read that your MC is under control well enough that you can reduce the dosage rate of Budez. I hope it stays under control, this time.

Those sausages sound interesting. I hope they pass the test.

Hi Ant,

Nice to have you back on the board  . So glad your trip went well and you're able to taper down a bit on the entocort. Those sausages sound yummy, so my fingers are crossed that you can tolerate them well.

Love,
Kari
