Ordering from Canada

Post by klhale »

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone is experiencing a very long delay in receiving their meds from Canada. I ordered Generic Entocort on Dec 1 and still have not received it.
Canadadrugs.com says there is a delay due to weather and Homeland security taking their time? They would not give me a refund , so I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

I have not had these problems before this one order and I hope this is not going on with all Canadian pharmacies.

Hi,

I ordered from northwestpharmacy.com on 01/07/11 and it says it shipped on 01/11/11. This is the first time I had ordered from a Canadian Pharmacy. I was hesitant to and the first time I was on Entocort I got it from the pharmacy at the University of Ky. It was so expensive and when they told me I had to be on 6 weeks this time I knew there was no way I could afford it so I ordered it from Canada. My doctor would not let me get the generic. I hope it does not take too long because I am supposesd to see my GI on 02/14/11 and have already been on the meds. Hope it comes soon.

Hi Explosive,

I normally buy the Brand name. I would really appreciate it if you would let me know when you receive your Entocort. I need to place an order and if you receive it in a reasonable amount of time, I will order from Northwest.

Thanks

I have never ordered from Canada but I read some place recently that it can take up to a month (or longer)to receive drugs from Canada since the US government (customs) seems to be stepping up inspection.

Do let us know when you get your entocort.

Back in September I ordered from Canadapharmacy.com and got it in 15 days. I e-mailed the order and there was a delay because they couldn't read the RX. I had to resend just the RX by e-mail. Even with the delay, I got it in 15 days. I would call them and inquire about your order.

I have been on Entocort for about 1.5 years. When I discovered the US cost for the brand name, you bet I investigated and started ordeing the brand name from Canada. First few times for the brand name from northwestpharmacy.com, more recently for the generic from canadamedicinshop.com (the latter 1st Rx not yet received tho ordered on 12/21/10). From NW RX, it always took about 3.5 weeks to receive. The generic is made in India, and I have had no dissimilar results from the brand name.

Any ideas about how to get the Rx sooner will be appreciated. Thanks all.

received Entocort

I received my Entocort today. Order shipped 12/2/10. Unbelievable, that's over 6 weeks.
This is the first time I have had a problem with Canadadrugs.com. I ususally receive my meds within 9-14 days. I hope our Gov't isn't taking their time inspecting, to delay us in getting our drugs from Canada, so we will buy in US. If that is the case, I can never afford my Entocort.

Those of you that need to order had better order really early, to make sure you have your Entocort. Better allow 6-8 weeks to receive it.

I read on one of the sites that orders should be made 6-8 weeks in advance.. because of Homeland Security and increased border inspection..looks like they are being serious about it.
