As we all know, non-celiac gluten sensitivity has not been studied or defined, but the Univ of Chicago is launching a few studies on this topic. This could prove very interesting.

"If you believe it will work out, you'll see opportunities. If you believe it won't you will see obstacles." - Dr. Wayne Dyer
That's a great school. One of the ER docs at my local hospital went to school there. A couple years ago when I went to the ER in what I now know was a flare, he asked if anyone had tested me for IBD. Wise man. I always wished he was a (or my) GI doc. He always seemed to believe something more sinister than IBS was having its way with me.

Three cheers for the U. of Chicago!!!
Does anyone know any U. of Chicago faculty? Maybe we can let them know that we have a large group of gluten-sensitive subjects here who could participate in surveys and possibly even studies. Thanks for sharing, Mary Beth - research is starting to catch up with us.....finally! WE knew about non-celiac gluten sensitivity here 10 years ago, and the rest of the world (except Dr. Fine) thought we were crazy.
