Hi Gloria,
So sorry to hear that you're having a tough time shaking the pneumonia, but happy for you that Norman is staying put. Sending you many warm and positive thoughts and hoping you'll get well soon.
Love,
Kari

Gloria,
At least the Levaquin shouldn't cause any D issues, since it's a fluoroquinolone. I think that the greatest risk of tendonitis or tendon rupture is linked to athletes, and I sure wouldn't do any stretching exercises for a while, after taking it, but with any luck at all, you shouldn't have any problems. I hope the Levaquin knocks that stuff out quickly, and you're soon back to feeling normal, again.
Thanks for the update.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Gloria,
Sorry to hear you are still struggling with pneumonia.
My husband blew out his Achiles a few years ago. He was playing basketball and really using those tendons, and he hadn't played basketball in years. He had taken levaquin prior to that and we really believe that it wouldn't have happened if he was doing the exercise as Tex mentioned, so rest up and avoid streching/hyperextending your calves for now.
Love,
Mary Beth

Pat, Kari, and Ant,
Thank you for your wishes. This, too, shall pass. There's not much to do in this weather other than lie on the couch, anyway.
Tex and Mary Beth,
Thank you for your reassurances about the tendons. I don't think overexercising them is a problem right now, so I should be OK.

You never know what you can do until you have to do it.

So glad that Norman has still been visiting you. He's such a fickle bugger! I hope he sticks around. My MC has been behaving very well throughout this. I'm still seeing Norman just once a day, and he's been pretty perfect.
Read my response. Hope you feel better soon! Pneumonia is no fun!My response to a post the other day was from the viewpoint of someone who hasn't been feeling very well
