I found a description and name for the treatment I was telling you about yesterday:
ACUTONICS
The Acutonics® system of sound healing uses the power of vibration to bring body and mind into greater harmony. Tuning forks applied to acupuncture points, chakras and trigger points awaken and align the meridians and energy centers of your body, bringing them into balance. The treatment takes place in a healing sound-environment created by bells, gongs and drums.
Anyway, I really did get a lot out of it. I'll be interested to hear what Shauno says about it.

the first part of shauns treatment (first 15 - 20 mins) he aligns the meridians and get the blood flood running freely, what you describe above sounds like it is a total spring clean... the gongs and drums sounds interesting
he has been to japan about 6 times for intense training courses so i think he has seen many variants..
