on a Dutch/Belgium message board I write with a belgium lady with MC. She is a bit in the same situation as Lisa, one doctor told her you have LC, another one is not sure because the lymphocyte number is higher than normal, but (as her last doctor told her), not high enough to call it LC. On the other hand, the whole clinical picture fits in with MC.
But, her last doctor was a clever one and he took a look at her medication. She was on Zoloft and remeron. I know Zoloft is associated with MC. But I couldn't find any information on Remeron. Can anybody tell me if Remeron is also associated with MC?
In her case, it looks like the MC is caused by the medication, since her complaints started soon after she started this medication.
Her new doctor has advised her to quit both, Zoloft and Remeron.

Hi Ant, at the moment I am the middle of a little movement, "just" personal stuff. Well, it's quite a lot. I have packed almost everything now, that need to be stored at my parents house. My renter will be moving in next friday and I will be leaving on the 23rd of March, a week later than planned.
I think my mother will be in a little shock if she sees "just my personal belonging".
Rental contract is signed so yes it is final now.
But remember for the whole middle east and north africa, it is only Libia where things seriously got out of hand and all the foreigners were advised to leave the country. I worry about a lot of things, but at the moment not at all about the changes in the middle east, I don't know why, maybe wishful thinking. I have more worries about finding a good nice place to live (read quiet so that I can sleep during night, no nosy neighbors)
