Mine are always yellow, though occasionally they tend toward tan.

It's not a big deal unless it's green, and then it's still not really a big deal, except you may want to watch your B12.

Mine, when softish, also tend toward being yellow. No, it's not a normal stool colour but then our bowels are not normal bowels. I always just figured it is from the MC and the bowel not functioning properly because of the inflammation. In my case, as things firm up ( ie bowel is working better) the colour returns to normal.

I have the same experience as Linda. When I'm not doing so well, it is yellow. As I improve and things begin to firm up, the color becomes tan.

Gee Willabec, you sure are having a tough time of it! I'd be looking up on the internet the full possible side effects of any medication you are on... ( asacol wasn't it? ) to see if itching is one. And if it is, I'd be going in to my dr. to see if they can find a different med for me..
Hope you get it figured out soon.. no fun , i bet!~ Lind a

I think that was listed as a possible side effect/allergic reaction. I'd definitely contact the doctor.

Morning Willabec,

Right there with the yellow to tan version.

I also had itching and very dry skin when I was on Asacol and the itching was predominately in the evening.

Itching can be a symptom of liver issues like cholestasis, especially if you itch on the palms of your hands. Make sure you don't have other signs of jaundice (ie. Yellowish skin, yellow eyes)

FWIW, my stool is always an orange-brown, more orange when the D is worse. Pale yellow stools can also point to liver issues.
