Kari
so pleased the idea worked for you - you gotta love less washing up!

If i remember correctly Kari, when you joined the PP family last year you had not done much cooking. Congratulations to you for embracing it!

You know Gabes sometimes its better to ask the masters directly LOL

Besides Mr Google can be so impersonal at times. He did give me 1,120,000 results (0.18 seconds)... that's going to take a while to read them all

Thank you Gabes - you've been an inspiration to me as I struggle in the kitchen as well as with MC management. You are right about me having marginal experience in the kitchen - good thing I'm retired now and can get to it with gusto :).

Love,
Kari

P.S. I was close to heaven last night when I put a little maple syrup on a warm slice of damper - it tasted amazingly good  . Maple was low reactive on my MRT test, but I had been holding off due to candida. I feel I have recovered enough now to indulge a bit occasionally :).

Kari
I am chuffed that you are enjoying the cooking and the results of your labours!

thanks to some discussions on here a month or so ago, i was craving pancakes, i did some adjustments to my aunt's pancake recipe to suit my current allowable ingredients, and that is now my weekend treat. Saturdays i make a savoury crepe consistency and have lamb or chicken in them. Sunday i make the mix with some brown sugar and have slightly caramel pancakes.

I too have reduced my sugar intake for candida elimination so the sunday morning sweet treat is worth the wait each week.
