Post by willabec »

just wondering could it be possible that i have something other than these two "issues"?? sunday was not a good day, so i decided to take 1 imodium....that allowed me to go bathroom free on monday (loved it!!), but this morning i went, not horrible but a weird, light, color.....with the "food", etc. staying in my system all day, should it not be the "normal" brown color??

No, because you didn't have a normal bowel movement - you took imodium.

Sure, it's possible that you could have some other disease also, because neither MC nor celiac disease make us immune to any other disease. I don't understand why you would want to deal with another disease, though, when you already have two perfectly good diseases, that you seem to be having a lot of trouble coping with.

I agree with Tex, based on some of your posts over the past week or so, you sound unsettled and slightly anxious.

my advice, stop, take a few breathes and just let it happen, stress and tension is a key trigger of MC for quite a few of us.
Give the meds time to work, be nice to your body nurture it with good plain easy to digest meals, be nice to your mind and relax.

If you have read the other posts on the main message board over the past week, you may have noticed various discussions and the message of those are there is no quick easy test that will give you all the answers regarding MC.

to see Courts post this morning the difference that being gluten free and dairy free for a short period of time confirms what most of us already know, remove the irritating ingredients and you will feel better.
