diarrhea at night

Post by aquilegia »

Did anyone else find that the diarrhea was worse at night? Mine started with diarrhea about 6X every night. It woke me up and I would get back to bed and then have to get up again.

For me it was worst first thing in the morning, but we all have different GI schedule as it were. I would have to wake up earlier than normal to let things take their course so I could leave for work on time. One thing to watch for is it it cannot be controlled at night meaning happening while you are asleep, that points to other issues.

Like Joe, my mornings are the worst. Perhaps it is also because our cortisol levels are high him the morning. I have to set my alarm two hours early just to let my system go through it's fits and settle/clear a bit. :cat:

Now occasionally, I do have issues in the evening. Normally, my system tends to quiet down in the evening.

Hi, yes mine was at night....many times at night, and sometimes all night. I was told it was a nocturnal disease. It was terrible, no sleep and D all night...if you get on Entocort, it will stop that night business and you will get some sleep.

Take care,

That was the way my MC started also. (plus horrible nausea & vomiting)

I had it for 18 months. It just stopped since I started taking Enterocort five days ago when I got my diagnosis.
