Lucky you! Not many of us are able to travel to the other side of the world, to get a medical test or treatment. You seem to be making a habit of it.

Joe, I'll be really interested in what you learn. You have so many puzzle pieces figured out (that observation about MC symptoms stepping into the background when cold/flu is imminent was fascinating) - I think you're in a better position than ever to benefit from what you'll learn from BIA.
BTW, I have a friend in NYC who travels to NH to see a doctor. He's from Portsmouth originally, and stays with family when he has an appointment - but he found the doctor through research and reading, long after he'd been living there.
But you still win the distance prize ;)

I am looking forward to trying this out. Within a few months I will only have drive a couple of hours to have this treatment... Certainly closer than now LOL
BTW where this practioner is located is almost exactly on the opposite side of the planet from where my home is now.... Your right I think that does take the distance record...
I will certainly post a write up about my experiences. Like the last trip to Oz I will make a travel log that I will post here in this forum.

Joe,
It just dawned on me why your MC symptoms sort of faded away each time a cold or flu viral infection began to develop - those viruses are extremely aggressive, and they propagate rapidly, so it's absolutely mandatory that the immune system must respond quickly, if it's going to successfully deal with the issue. I'm sure that the immune system is programed that way, (probably as part of the innate immune response), and this response is further fine-tuned by adaptive responses, based on previous encounters with similar viruses, so when you think about it, it's really no mystery why it recognizes the threat early on, and responds accordingly.
Obviously, a new viral infection would be classified as a higher priority in the hierarchy of tasks which fall under the duties of the immune system, when compared with a long-term, (basically steady-state), autoimmune-type response to food sensitivities.
At least that seems logical to me, FWIW.

the dicussion about immune reactions and the MC symptoms not being as prevelant is having some similarities to the BIA reports.
when they do the BIA assessment it comes up with the 'top 10 issues' interestingly inflammation and diarrhea are not the main issues or me inflammation is number 5 and diarrhea is number 6. adrenal has been in the top 3 for all 3 assessments.
and Tex dont worry, i have warned the practitioner that she will have an inquisitive scientist on her doorstep!

I wanna go fossicking and have bio-impedance done too!! Joe, do you need anyone to carry your bags? Of course, if I did go, you'd never get a chance to talk with Gabes. I would monopolize all of her time. LOL!
