I hated marzipan when we lived in Germany when I was a child. But our tastes change as we grow older, so I was thinking about maybe trying marzipan again down the road. Then I read Gloria's post about the soy. Bummer... Then I read Lyn's post about finding non-soy marzipan, so maybe... One thing MC has done for me is make me willing to try new things (eventually).

Gloria,
I also have a date of April 12th on the calendar - I'll be thinking of you starting then, when you're back from your trip and moving away from Entocort. My circumstances are totally different, but since the date's the same, please know you're on my mind! Hope the trip is wonderful, and see you on the "other side" of our various 4/12 changes ;)
You have really helped me, more than you can know - your posting of your 3-day rotating diet was an enormously valuable way for me to focus on what I needed to attend to, in order to minimize reaction risk, and maximize healing so I can figure out what to do after the current panic.
Love,
Sara

Gloria,
Just read your glorious news about chocolate! I am SO happy for you!!! That is one food I haven't tried with the Histame yet. I've been SO happy to eat fish once/week that I'm satisfied with that.
Like I said in the other post, I take one capsule each time I eat a meal, and 2 with a fish meal. Between that and the Pentasa things are finally starting to go well (or better). I suppose my definition of Norman is lowered a bit, but compared to where I was a couple of weeks ago, I'm dancing on air.
Again, I couldn't be happier for you!!!
Maybe it's time to do something about my chocolate cravings. lol

Arlene - I'm thinking of you 'dancing on air' and smiling. I did a little happy dance in the kitchen last night, and my husband and I were both startled... it's been a while!
(Thinking about Histame, too, though I'm not sure whether that's wise since I don't know enough about my intolerances yet... But I ate the same thing for dinner that I had for lunch, and suddenly - a hive showed up.)
Maybe we'll both be sporting chocolate-y fingerprints, eventually!
Keep feeling better, and here's hoping,
Sara
