in my post about the Bio Impedance I may have mentioned the things coming up in the results

the BIA did indicate bacteria, virus, fungus, parasites, pathogens. the first assessment it also indicated for candida but i have managed to get that off the list.
the Colostrum i am taking is helping to eradicate these unwanted guests from my digestion

from what i know, not all of the bacterias, virus's, fungai etc will show up in blood or poop tests. If the BIA is as good as I think it is then i am pretty happy to have this means of assessment

My test was technically negative, but I saw some readings seemed somewhat high/near the cut-off. But I guess they take an average...

When I initially started having problems about 2 years ago my gastro dr. had me do a hydrogen breath test and I tested positive. He then put me on xifaxan for 2 weeks along with the probiotic Florastor. I was good for about a year and then the d started up again. I went back on the xifaxan but did not get better. Another long story short - I was just recently diagnosed with LC.

I don't know if there is any connection between the 2 but it would be interesting to know if there is.

SIBO is one of many known causes of MC.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
