Good Morning Polly
I heard your page and came running:)
Yes, I'm hoping to have my blood drawn later this afternoon for my MRT testing! I'm super excited to see what unfolds with the results. As with many of us double DQ1'ers, I'm sure there will be many reds which appear. I remember my immediate reaction after reading my Enterolab results were "If I reacted positively to everything they can test for, what else might I be sensitive to?"

I've had limited success with finding and staying in remission with regard to the almighty Norman. He teases me and shows up for a few days and then takes a leave of absence. Much of the joint and back pain has subsided and I have regained some energy and stamina but have a long way to go.
It appears that rice doesn't agree with me which severely limits any type of "gluten free" anything so I've been keeping to a few meats, fish, well cooked veggies, quinoa, coconut, bananas, applesauce and almond butter/milk. On occasion I have had white potatoes. It will be interesting to see what my results reveal and how my first phase of LEAP will begin.
You sure have been a trailblazer for so many of us which has made it difficult for you but SO much easier for us- so thanks for the insight, tips and all of your documentation. You've been so disciplined and patient with your LEAP diet and it has paid off in spades for you.
Thanks for your support and I'll keep you posted!
Love,
Kelly
