Such fun!! Keep the pictures coming. Gabes, love the sunflower picture - it should be your avatar.

The times you are having will be lifetime memories.

That would be a great avatar picture with the sunflowers.

I don't know what is wrong with my connection but I only see a frog in an ice cube saying domain unregistered go to bitly something. I am the only one with this problem?

Dear Harma

To start with I did not get the pictures. Try clicking on the frog ice cube and after a while the picture will hopefully arrive....

Well folks thanks for all the support and great comments... I am in the last long leg of the trip from LA to Detroit and a currently at 35000 over Karis house in the Rockies.

Here are some additional photos

One of our kangaroo friends.

More of the Roos

A very nice small chapel in Leyburn where we attended Anzac ceremonies.

A road in the sunflower field. These fields are huge

Hmmm I wonder who this could be... I know a repeat... But worth it

A great shot of how large this sunflower field is. This field is located about 20 minutes south of Gabes house.

Here is a nice stream with the gum trees. This is located in Pratten just a couple of minutes drive from the train car house.

I will probably post more photos later after I Get home and get some rest, I took just about 500. I will add some of the better ones to my first Australian photo section in the photos area of the board.

Thanks to everyone here for your support not only this trip but also this past year, it has made all difference in the world.

Wow, Joe these photos are beautiful. It sounds like you had a great trip and the weather looks like it was perfect. I'm looking forward to hearing more stories from Oz as well as any photos you decide to share. I hope the remainder of your trip is uneventful and you get some much needed rest after traveling 1/2 way around the world- literally!

Welcome home...I bet I know a puppy who will be SO glad to see you;)

Kelly
i am a bit worried about Nestle's reaction when Joe first arrives home, during the trip we had contact with a few dogs so Joe's shoes and clothes will smell of other dogs.

I am sure that a lamb shank bone will help attain forgiveness

I was wondering who put that lamb shank bone into my luggage... It was driving all the security dogs nuts. LoL. I'm sure nestle would love one...

If my homecoming is like the last time she will talk to me for a good 10 minutes, followed by her wanting to give me a bath of 10000 kisses and then she will become Velcro dog... I am not going back into work until next Monday so I will probably take her out for a walk in the woods this week.

I believe Nestle will be sorry she missed the party, but entirely forgiving of Joe's contact with those down-under dogs!

Joe, spectacular photos - thanks for sharing them while in transit, and congratulations on a successful mission. Great news that you have till Monday to return to work (for you and your velcro girl).

Big smiles from Bu the Brooklyn pooch as well,

Joe - spectacular pictures - can't believe those sun flower fields - sun flowers have always been one of my favorites!!!

Gabes - love you amongst the flowers!!! You look so vibrant and alive (so opposite to the depressive effect of MC) - that image of you will forever stay in my mind.

Joe - did you see me wave as you flew over the rockies??? How did your Nurse react to your home coming???

Look forward to more pictures - you and Gabes are spreading so much cheer by allowing us to share in your adventures through posting here!!!!!

Love,
Kari
