Tex many of the Crohns patients have similar experiences. Actually the Imuran did initially cause some fatigue for the first week or so, but once the dose was stable, I actualy had better energy and concentration than before, again this is a response seen on the various patients on the Crohns boards.
Certainly travel does take it's toll as well, what I have been talking about is the long term energy. My GI doc and various literature describes autoimmune conditions as causing fatigue quite commonly as well, usually while the condition is active / flaring. The Imuran once it calms the immune response down does increase your energy, that's been one of the benefits I've enjoyed.

Congratulations Mary Beth to you and your son. How wonderful to run a race with him and I'm sure he was proud of you too. I just watched my grandson cross the finish line at the Boston Marathon and it was wonderful. I don't know how you did it feeling the way you did. Such an accomplishment.
Amen Kari to some things being behind us as we get older. Girls, there are some things to look forward to. LOL
