Anyone live in that area? I am shocked and amazed no one can catch this animal and get it into a proper home.

thats so sad. I did my first rescue a few months ago and I can't stand to see dogs without their owners.... thanks I have passed that on to my NC friends

Thanks Quincy. It is amazing they cannot get this dog. I think they can... Not too many sharp tacks in the box down there I fear

he looks well fed and healthy at least. The dog I rescued a few months ago was skin and bones but I found him a great home and Toby (he's a King Charles Spaniel) is doing really well with his new home. The animal rescue in that town or one nearby should be involved with this by now, you are right about that...
