Thankyou Romanita.
There is so much to learn isnt there. That was interesting about Corn. Ive heard that some Rest Homes give elderly residents a 1/4 of a raw pear in the morning to keep them regular. So I guess raw pears (along with most raw fruit) should be avoided till personally tested.
I am currently trying GF bread and cookies while I learn more re GF. I intend to gently modify my diet in general and see how I go.
In my notebook, I note my food, how I feel( if different), what I drink and how many visits I need to make daily. I must say Im ever so much better since stopping the NSAIDS ( except for the joint pain) and taking some Metamucel. My bed time now, and most of you are all fast asleep in early hours of yesterday morning!
Another Thankful Newbie

I haven't eaten any whole corn since being diagnosed in February. Have had corn based products though.
Still am trying to figure out why the large bloated stomach when I have no D and taking nothing to firm up the stool. Mine are all the soft serve or firmer consistency and are all sinkers. I even had to get the plunger out a couple of times. I go very regular about an hour after my morning coffee. Rarely more than that.
Do eat lettuce once in awhile but only as a wrap. I haven't eaten any mixed nuts since Wednesday as I felt I was eating way too many and my stools were loaded with chunks of nuts. And the nuts were very salty.
I quit keeping a diary of everything I eat. Now I only write down if I eat something new or if something is different that day.
