Rich,
You are very lucky that your wife received such wonderful care here in the US. The full effect of our new healthcare system isn't in place yet. The beginnings are showing for some of us on Medicare.. we are the guinea pigs for the rest of the plan. Thank heavens our family doctor is my age and knows how to work the system (so far) or we wouldn't be able to get most tests that were common when we had private health insurance.
