Hi Gloria,
My symptoms are what makes my case the worst she has seen. I don't think mine are worse than what I read about some others on this board. But, they are bad. Without Entocort, I can't stay out of the Emergency Room. I cannot drink enough to keep hydrated. I go about 30 x a day. Bummer! Thank God for Entocort!

I. too, was fired by a GI doc... well sort of.. he said I couldn't come back until I was properly treated by a psychiatrist. He said that since none of his treatments for IBS worked.. I needed to be on meds from a psychiatrist! Needless to say, I didn't go back!

I had a rheumatologist who could not figure out what is wrong with me. He told me not to come back until I fixed sleep. I told him that was interesting because my sleep doc said she had done all she could until we figured out the underlying problem. Rather than work with me, he blamed me. I hate that "blame the patient" mentality. I still need a good rheumatologist. But, at least I found a good gastro doc!
