Sorry, I missed your post. DH does not want to go for a CD. The only way to graduate Novice II is to enter an obedience trial. I was hoping that he'd change his mind but I don't think he will.

Oh, yes, I'll be taking Jazz to obedience. I took her to to watch the dog therapy class and they let us practice with them. She did well walking on a loose leash and sitting. We'd practiced when we walked in the neighborhood.

The "leave it" command was very hard for her but it was her first time. She had to leave food thrown on the ground right in front of her. That is so they don't eat any pills off the floor when they visit a hospital or nursing home.

The housebreaking that I thought was going so well has regressed. The whining, crying, barking, nipping, biting and chewing are pretty darn bad. I hope it all works out in the end because I am truly sorry I ever got a puppy.

Is RN Rally Novice? DH's not interested in rally either.

She has a regular coat. It's just starting to come in now. I think she'll be mostly apricot but I do see some darker hairs around her eyes and on her belly. The breeder said she would look like her sire (CH KatZ Golden Haze) but I wish she'd look like her dam (CH KatZ Chaotic Clare JC.)

Here's a link to the kennel web site: www.katzborzoi.com

Keshia likes her except when Jazz chews on her.
Keshia so wants the puppy to really run with her but she is afraid. She runs and hides in the bushes.
It works out well when Keshia runs and Jazz follows but then Keshia turns and chases Jazz.

I think that very soon Jazz will tower over Keshia...and it will be a whole new ballgame.

Yes, the photo of Jazz does look like puppy fur. It doesn't look that way now, though.

As if we weren't having enough puppy fun, Jazz broke her toe. She has a splint up to her lower thigh which she gets changed in 2 weeks. Thank heavens, we took out pet insurance for her.....
