Thats interesting Tex, I was not aware of those citations, but have added them to my collection of printouts that I am organizing into a research diary / album. I have not read that discussion before about the increasing incidence of MC, but it would not surprise me at all. BTW I have run across 3 other individuals with both MC & Crohns on other Crohns boards, so the co-commitment of both etiologies cannot be that rare.

Interesting article. As you all know, I worry about evolving to UC, especially because my grandfather had it. And I do personally feel that all of these IBD's are just various version or evolutions of Chrons, UC, etc.
So whether or not the article has basis, I agree with Tex that control of inflammation as soon as possible is key to preventing or retarding evolution to a more problematic primary disease (and secondary diseases).
