It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

unfortunately, it could be almost any food making you sick. I ate some mushrooms the other day, and I have been seriously ill ever since. My colon is so sore. I did not even have soy or anything on the mushrooms, so they weren't even that good.

Try another elimination.

Good luck,

spoke to drs. office yesterday. dr. away on vacation for the entire week! ugh! my issue is that i only have enough meds for today and the pharmacy called and my precription this time (dr. had given me a prescription card so that the entocort would only cost $50 and it has expired) the meds are over $600....drs. med. assistant said she would talk to another dr. today and call me back. would have no idea what another dr. would say to a patient that is not his. the med. assistant also said that my dr. is big on entocort while the other drs. do not really use it...i wonder what that means?? anyway, the pharmacy is only filling enough of the entocort for 2 weeks, which will give me more meds and time for my dr. to return from vacation. i was a little leary of just stopping it cold turkey! yesterday was a good day - only went once....we'll say what today brings! so far not the best. thanks for listening!

I was not having luck with Entocort alone and my Dr. added Apriso. I am up and down, but not as bad as what you are describing. I may have some D, but only in the morning without that awful urgency.

Good luck and sorry the other doctors at your GIs are maybe not as cooperative. Hang in there and do hope you are feeling better. Good day is my hope for you.
