Hey all just a quick update;

After speaking with my year tutor on thursday, we have agreed that it might be worthwhile me taking a study suspension (I had been thinking about this anyway) for the 2011/12 academic year. I still have 3/4 of my first semester assignments to do as well as all my second semester ones too do so my workload is a but ridiculous atm, however I do have several options open to me for between now and the end of the academic year. But the main thing is that they know what is happening and why I have been more distracted than usual.

I would say more, but I have aquired a bit of a brain fog. That and it is midnight so I am being very Un-studenty and going to bed to be all wide and awake for uni work tomorrow.

Love to all.

Katy/Naty

Katy that sounds like a great plan given all that you are dealing with this year. Its great that you have that option available and are wise enough to take advantage of it.

Best wishes Katy

Naty, I am very sorry about what is happening in your family. I am glad you are taking care of yourself, and that you have what sounds like two caring siblings in this with you. This is horribly difficult at any age, but I am glad that you are not a young child having to deal with this, but can make some decisions on your own, and it sounds like you are making wise decisions. Good for you!

Dear Katy

Sounds like a good idea to pause and regroup on your studies. You have so much else to deal with at the moment.

Bestest wishes, ant

Yeah, have kinda learnt over the past 18 months that there is absolutley no shame in doing things at my own pace as opposed to doing it at the pace most people go by. That and I need to learn how to take other peoples advice sometimes

Good decision Naty if you make the one of taking the time off. Right now it seems to be the best course for you and I do wiish you luck in your decision.

Maggie, depending on how uni work goes this year, I am taking the study suspension. However, if I don't quite manage to do all my assessments by mid June- I am applying to resit whatever I haven't passed on a first sit basis in 2011/12.

Atm though I am taking each day as it comes.
