Oh, my, you have really been through the mill. So sorry about your DD's dx. Did she have any sickness just prior to feeling the intense thirst? I remember a friend's son many years ago having the "flu" and then he had the intense thirst and subsequent Type I dx. The dr said the flu probably triggered the gene to turn on. Which reminded me of MC. Seems we have the gene and then something triggers the gene to wake up. Enterolab testing may be the best way to approach her, "just to see". Have you had the testing yourself? If not maybe you could do this together! Hang in there - she is going to be ok. Sounds like she is mature and willing to do what is necessary. Take care of yourself. We mom's tend to take care of everyone else putting ourselves on the back burner. Hugs to you and your daughter!

what a draining couple of months of medical stuff, wow.
I am not sure if the MC eating plan is meant to be an incentive that the diabetes plan is better, but if that helped your daughter with acceptance then go with it....

thinking of both of you as you go on the acceptance journey for the changes you will embrace. It seems you are both pretty strong open people so i am confident you will do grand
