Joe, you absolutely could strike up a US-Aussie courier service. I can think of a few gems to bring back. Do you think you could fit Gabes' naturopath and Shauno, acupuncturist extraordiniare in your suitcase on your return trip?!

Shauno has just become a dad for the second time and also does some serious sports like kickboxing, I dont think Joe is powerful enough to abscond him!
Shauno's wife is a lawyer so there could be some issues there as well

Yeah Gabes after seeing Shauno he would crush me like a used tinny. His wife could then sue me for littering LOL. He is a great guy though I cant wait to see him on Tuesday, after the flight I am going to need his expertise.
a 'tinny' is a small boat for fishing....
(or to get from the house to the pub during floods which seems to be the most common use for them in Qld in the past 4 months)

Gabes, I look forward to your product reviews on the lipsticks. (And btw, my house is littered with sewing & knitting experiments, plus scraps - which I really should have put aside or organized before gardening season began, because I just got back from the nursery and my hands aren't fiber-ready... you are right that MC puts the small stuff in perspective, but I could use a little perfectionism over here.)

for the hobbies and activities and foods etc that you may have to change or give up when MC comes along, the friendships that i have with this family mean way way more to me.

Sara - ditto re the gardening, i have moved to a place where it is cool enough to grow bulbs, i have planted some and have more to plant. it was pretty awesome, one of my work colleagues her childrens school did bulbs as a fundraiser, in MC world I LOVE any fundraiser that doesnt involve food and chocolate, and has plants instead
