Happy Birthday Gabes! Cute picture, and well done Joe. BTW, does Shaun the Sheep star with Wallace and Grommett, A Close Shave??? Looks familiar.

Yes they are all done by Aardman Animations
http://www.aardman.com/

Yes, Shaun was the character in W & G close shave and then got his own dedicated series

Aside from wallace and gromit, shaun the sheep, they also do a series called creature comforts. the original one using voices from all across the UK is very good, and i have seen some of the american based episodes that copied the concept of the british one
another low budget one they have is Rex the Runt

Thanks again to all for the birthday wishes and for making it awesome. This birthday was another milestone in my MC management success, I had a wonderful week and the idiosyncrasies of MC did not have any impact on the week.

Hi Joe,

Since I'm here this morning, I'll answer for JoAnn and Gabes. Close Shave is simply the name of an episode of Wallace and Grommit where Shaun the Sheep was a character. There was a knitting machine involved, so Shaun got a "close shave" . I have many of the Wallace and Grommit episodes on video tapes, which I have watched over and over again with my grand-children - they love them, as do I :).

Love,
Kari

'Close Shave' is just wonderful, and I haven't thought to re-watch it since I resumed my knitting hobby! I believe I know what I shall schedule myself to do this evening...

Thanks Kari for filling Joe in on A Close Shave. Joe, you have been deprived if you haven't watched A Close Shave! You've got to get on Amazon right away and order it or maybe it's on Netflix or whatever other way you can watch movies nowadays. I've had A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, and A Close Shave for years. Like you Kari, my children enjoyed it, my grandchildren, and my schoolchildren. Age doesn't seem to matter when you watch these. Also, Gabes, I remember watching Creature Comforts with my daughter and howling with laughter. Oh, Sara, it makes me laugh to think of you knitting while watching A Close Shave. What was Wallace's girfriend's name in it?? Something Ramsbottom?? I think she ended up not liking cheese which was the deal breaker. My copies are at school. I'm going to have to remember to bring them home for the holidays. Have a "grand" day all, Love JoAnn
