Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
Sounds like things are a lot better now that you know what you're dealing with. I've heard from friends who've gone through treatment that the doctors have very good plans, based on the very specific type/stage/etc. Keep your chin up and good, good, good luck!
Mary...great news for now! I'm sure you're much relieved. Let's hope the sugeons can agree on what they see so you can move on with your life and your family.
Good news Dee. My Aunt finished all her chemo about 4 months ago (I think she has stage 4 breast cancer??) but she is doing so well it is wonderful. One of the most encouraging things she believed was that the treatments they have now will hold her over until the big guns are discovered (there is some huge ground breaking research and findings being published on newer treatments for cancer).
Things like this make you appreciate life more and nothing is more important than life itseld and never should be taken for granted. Keep us posted and you'll be in my prayers.
