I have some friends who have an autistic child. It's been a few years since they started using diet to help him with his symptoms and I have lost touch with them, but the last I heard, he was making amazing progress.

It's similar with ADD. I have two children with ADD (self-diagnosed), one 33 and one 12. All my children are extremely intelligent, but the 33yo has struggled all her life with motivation and has recognized for about 12 years now that she is ADD and needs to compensate.

My husband just told me that I can take our family gluten-free to help the 12yo. She gets really frustrated with herself when she can't force herself to focus. A friend told me a couple of weeks ago that she has some friends who took their son gluten-free without telling anyone, and he became a new child. At the next parent-teacher conference the teacher went on and on about how he had changed and was comprehending so well now.[/b]
