I wouldn't dream of purchasing a whole one. I never do that. I have NO idea where to get any of those brands. I have to go to different supermarkets to check out what they have. Note to self - I need to write down the brands so I don't forget.
There is no Sam's in our area. We have a Costco. I will look there.
Thanks for the advice.

dont forget the internet & phone can be your friend...
check the websites for brands, they will have ingredient information for products
when you confirm brands you can trust, contact them and ask about retailer(s) in your area.
a few phone calls to shops can also help you confirm who has what, and if they do stock it, what day they get deliveries (so you can get fresh stocks)
when i was in brisbane i used to have to go to about 6 outlets to get all my trusted ingredients, some of which were 20 min drive, others 45 min drive each way. The day before I would ring ahead and get items put aside and had a schedule of getting to each of the outlets once a month.
where i live now it is a smaller town and much easier, i have a health food store that put aside 2 dozen eggs each week for me. Another awesome local store that has HUGE range of items for multi intolerances, she sends me a note on Facebook when she gets a new 'gabe safe' product on the shelves
once you solve the mystery of what foods you can handle, it is easy to set up a schedule and shopping becomes alot less stressful

Lesley,
I'm sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I think everyone has given you good tips. I did note with interest your comment that you are certain you are not dehydrated yet you remain thirsty all the time. If that's the case, have you been tested for diabetes? Constant thirst is one of the most common indicators of diabetes.
Good luck!

Sharaine - I have been tested over and over for diabetes. I don't have it. I'm not always thirsty. My mouth is just very dry. So are my eyes. I know the indicators for diabetes. I treated many victims of the disease.
No one can figure out why my sodium goes so low. I know when it does because I feel so horrible. I can never bring it into normal range, but I can get it up just enough to stay upright for 5 minutes.
Thanks once again Gabes. I first have to find the products. I already went to one grocery store to get cream of white rice cereal, advertised on the internet as available, and wasn't when I got there. Today I couldn't get out at all. I managed the pool, and that about finished me. I'm exhausted and my whole body is hurting, not just my back, which is horrid!

Lesley,
While we're guessing at the etiology of your symptoms, you appear to have the symptoms of Sjögren’s syndrome, associated with excess arginine vasopressin, (AVP), release. Have those possibilities been evaluated, or ruled out?
With your symptom description, Sjögren’s is virtually a slam dunk, and excess AVP release is a common cause of hyponatremia.

OK, never thought of that, and I don't think any of my docs considered it. I will suggest it, and see if anyone will look for it. Or has looked for it for that matter. No one ever suggested it to me.
I should have thought of it. My brain is truly foggy.
I seem to have forgotten all my physiology. Anatomy, neuroanatomy, physical and cognitive problems - mostly no problem. But physiology? Was never good at it, and have forgotten it all.

Thanks Zizzle. I know that, and have already emailed my doctor about it. I can't believe I have had these symptoms for years, and never made the connection. I guess it took getting full blown MC and meeting you guys to jolt my foggy brain.
Why it never occurred to my doctors - well if my GI can first dx MC and then say it's IBS they can say anything!

Reply from my rheumy:
The blood tests that would point to Sjogren's Syndrome have been negative on more than one occasion--most recently in July. Based on those results it would be extremely unlikely.
The only other test that could be done would be a biopsy of little salivary glands on the inner lip. I would not recommend it since the chance of finding something abnormal would be very remote.

July was my last hospitalization. So, though the symptoms fit, the tests don't show it.
Good dxc though!

That just goes to show the extent to which doctors ignore symptoms, while worshiping test results, these days. No test is perfect. Most of them are not even close.
My tests show that I have normal thyroid function, (TSH), yet I've been taking a thyroid hormone supplement to treat hypothyroidism for over 5 years, now. Without treatment, my free F4 is below range, and even with 60mg of Armour, my Free T4 is barely over the minimum limit of the "normal" range.
