Hi Family:
Today is the twins Graduation Party. OMG! Thank goodness today ends our 2 month stretch of parties.
Next weekend however is David's 50th Class Reunion! LOL Really looking forward to August 1st the day of the reunion. Lots of special things going on that Saturday to celebrate.
We have some very dear friends driving from Fredericks, Colorado that we haven't seen in 5 years. (Since the 45th reunion) David and Bob started kindergarten together and went right through school and graduated together. Over the years they have been the very best of friends and always will be.
Bob's mother passed away when he was very young and his father remarried. Well his step mother wasn't exactly the roll model he needed and she threw away all of his school photo's, year books etc. just to be nasty. So I have been working very hard on replacing some of the memories from their Senior trip to Washington, D.C., graduation photo's of classmates and even a photo of Bob, David and another friend Duane on their first day of kindergarten. I copied and made extra photo's from what David had and even other classmates let me download other photographs so I could make him a scrapbook. It turned out pretty well and am hoping he will enjoy the surprise gift. Memories of his childhood with friends and high school.
Hope everyone is doing fine. Next week is going to be another very busy week getting ready for the reunion but will do my very best to pop in and check on all and let you know how things are going.
Love and God Bless:
Jodi

Jodi---U are an
--and a busy one to boot---
Isnt it a joy to celebrate such wonderful fun things---
Thats one thing I really missed not having---a class reunion ---but going to an all girls Catholic High School wouldnt lead much to having someone start it---tis only my opinion--
Of course everyone knew Lou--and my home room SISTER would crack us up---cus every afternoon--she would announce *Barbara Louis is waiting for U across the street* Sister Leonelda was her name and came Monday morning she would always sit (before the bell rang) to hear what we all did for the weekend!!!
We were NOT allowed any make-up etc---so my classmate Rosetta would pile on all her make-up before the 3:00 bellrang and Sister Leonelda would sit and watch--sometimes I wondered if she wished she could try some *make-up*--
I went back many years after--went to the rectory--sat down and chatted with the newer set of NUNS and found out that many of my teachers had passed on--they were thrilled to see me and hear that I attened Cathedrale and they remebered some of the past sisters there!!
U are doing a wonderful thing for BOB and I betcha he will be very moved to see what U have done for him---
Waiting to hear how the whole affair went--

the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control
Jodi,
How very thoughtful of you. It sounds like you've put a lot of effort into the project. I'm sure Bob will be thrilled with the scrapbook.
Barbara,
As usual, you write of your high school days with such flair and skill. You have such a gift.
I think most Catholic high schools have reunions today because it's a good way to get contacts for fundraising. I'm surprised that your school doesn't have them.
