Morning back sis--
Well I took time but then I found out it was better for me to get here and keep in touch~~~~
THINGS take time----so I am giving everything TIME!!!
Kait is DOING!!!! the next procedure is scheduled when we get back from family reunion---which begins on August 1st (for a week)
Doug and Lori coming in Thursday --Deb arriving on Friday and then we all leave Saturday--which is Lynn's 50th birthday
and we have a cake coming with us---make by this famous bakery here in our town---it will be frozen so that by the time we get to Cape Cod we shall be ready to light the 50 candle and sing Happy Birthday--naturally we let Kait in on the surprise and she is THRILLED!!

Doug and Lori sleeping here---Deb will be here too then Lynn is going to drive here and bring Deb back to her house and they will leave together---
I am so anxious for Doug to come HOME again----I get to *tears* already---a few of his friend are coming over on Friday to see him and that should be *sweet*
So far--in reference to added Doc.--I am just doing the LIQUID ZINC bit--then when we get back from reunion she is going to do a complete workup on me----blood---STOOL speciman etc.--she is very eager to get to my body
and so am I--I have a good feeling that things arent working properly due to some reading I have done---also chatting with my nurse friend cross the street----she has been great encouragement for me--not Miss Betty either--(the one that directed Doug to the Neuro that screwed him up---)
SEE--I can GET IT OUT HERE---LOU is sorta getting tired of hearing me--but I am that kinda person--cant drop BAGGAGE--and thats a big part of my problem~~~
I had posted that I tasted the LIQUID ZINC which is god awful---but DR.Leventhal was XCITED that I did--appears my BITTER TASTE BUDS are STILL working but the others arent!!!!!
To add--my thrill will be to taste my coffee and ICE CREAM----and I am certain I will be delighted to TASTE what I am eating too-
Doc. after Doc.-- but as Lou says *there are worse off than U* and there are- but right now its ME!!!!!!
Today I start packing some clothes---and it will be VERY VERY casual!!!!

I can't remember Doug ever coming to visit before. He probably did and I missed it, but I know how special that will be.
Is Lynn's cake from the CAKE BOSS in NY? I absolutely LOVE that show on TV! Have you seen it? Amazing how they make those cakes. (I get the show on Mon. nights at 10:00 PM on TLC).

Hey, I'm glad you didn't disappear from the board for long. Not only is it good for us all to have a place to vent, you are essential around here. You give great advice and support to others, and you have the most unique and colorful observations and stories. When you are not here, it's just not the same.
