Although I only understood a small amount of this any research (with the emphasis on "search") that seeks the truth without fear or favour is good news..... Which makes me wonder....how much research money from public, private and charitable organizations is being devoted to genuine research into MC causes and cures? Are there any Microscopic Colitis Research Foundations (not for profit) already in existence? Best ant

Not that I'm aware of. This is pretty much of an orphan disease. :sigh:

That could change if we could show a correlation between IBS and MC. Also, if the pharmaceuticals thought a "magic pill" - besides Entocort - would take care of IBS/MC , there might be a financial incentive for them to do more research. As long as diet is the main solution, I'm afraid the health industry isn't terribly interested.
