Anyone tried Turtle Mountain So Delicious coconut yogurt ?
To control my MC, I'm gf, df, sf.
I miss yogurt desperately. Because I avoid soy, I can't try soy yogurt. I heard of rice yogurt but most reviews don't seem positive and some were downright hostile.
Now on the web I've come across Turtle Mountain So Delicious coconut yogurt. I've always adored coconut in any form, and wonder if this yogurt is any good; not that it will taste of coconut - it seems to come in blueberry, vanilla, and mango flavours.
I can only find one place local to me that sells it, and that's Whole Foods down in Toronto which is tiresome for me for travel and parking as I live north of the city. Also it's in a trendy expensive area so it'll be premium priced. I'm considering going down, buying one, sitting outside and eating it, and if it's good, buying a dozen or more to take home.
First, though, a check to see if anyone knows what it's like.

Yes, I've tried the So Delicious coconut milk yogurt and it is very good.
Especially, since we can't have normal yogurt!
You will find that it will be cheaper at Whole Foods compared to a HFS..
If you haven't tried their coconut milk ice cream, I highly recommend it.
I'm addicted to their Mocha Almond Fudge ice cream....:-)
Their coconut milk that comes in the half gallons, I recommend, also.

Hi Maxine,
I hope that someone who is eating this product will notice your post and respond, because I believe that at least a couple of members are able to eat it without any problems. There are also some members who cannot tolerate it. The questionable ingredients seem to be locust bean gum, guar gum, and carrageenan.
Here is a thread where we discussed it when it first became available:
http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewt ... nut+yogurt
And this topic discusses how one member reacted to it:

I haven't seen it in any of the local stores where I live, so I haven't tried it yet.
Edit: OK, I see that Dee has written a favorable endorsement, while I was locating the old threads, (above), for this post.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
As my thread listed above indicates, I have had immediate reactions to the coconut yogurt, but I'm not a typical MCer because I have numerous intolerances. I also have reacted to the coconut ice cream. Both are very tasty and I hope you are able to eat them.
