Do Doctors Enjoy Writing Prescriptions, Or What?

Post by tex »

Hi All,

Just because the FDA has approved these drugs for kids, doesn't mean that doctors should be writing prescriptions right and left, just to see if it works. :sigh: I suppose they figure, "Hey, the FDA says they're safe to use, so why not use 'em". Fortunately, most pediatricians know better.

This pretty well illustrates the cavalier attitude that many doctors seem to have about the use of drugs, in general.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
