day with WELLNESS MD--I am the IMPATIENT PATIENT

YESSSS---I started off on an attack mission --I want INSTANT CURE!!! so here is how it went~~~learning something new again about the bodies functions~~

I didnt know that atop your KIDNEYS sit ADRENAL GLANDS-which secrete hormones--CORTISOL-adrenline and DHEA which help us to buffer STRESS and adapt to everyday life demands by determining the stress response------so to say-under stress your adrenals cannot keep up and the DHEA levels start to fall--bingo--ADRENAL FATIGUE--and this spiral causes so many other things to be *UNHAPPY*--and somethings enuf to SCARE me--
Appears when I waken in the A.M, my cortisol is moving at a good pace--after a few hours --tis a slow down and then end--waaaaaay down-
A few dayz ago my feet swelled up--so that was a good indication of something going *amuck*--unknowledgeable to me WHY---was blaming my psoriasis---

We spent about 2 hours with MD--after which I was in tears--as usual--and she told me this will take time--at this point I BELIEVED her~~~~treatment is justified--
The liquid ZINC shall continue--with all the other vitamins she gave me--
Will be taking a *SPIT* test(yes --have 4 tubes to spit into and then send away for analysis-)
and the OINTMENT that the derma gave me--which I was bitching about--is the BEST--after all I only been using it several dayz~~~
Again---Wellness Doc---Barbara!!! this will also take time to heal---she laughed--said boy U are Impatient!!! adding--psoriasis is due to all this 2--and adding all the stress over the years--and continuing--to follow me around hasnt been of great help to my body ----
I felt much better after we left---cus I know I am not a very good patient--at times!!
And of course the disagreements that L and I have dont help either--
I guess the BIG MAN upstairs must have said Louie and Barbara are to be together--L. handles issues with all his strength--ME~~~~I totally fall apart--get angry--cuss my mouth off but Lou *things will be ok* and he keeps reassuring me~~~
SO---this was my day---
Happy but still *impatient*

Bless your heart. You are dealing with alot of things.
It's not easy to be patient when you want to get better fast.

I always admire your honesty, Barbara. You don't "gloss over" things, but tell it like it is. I have a feeling that your doctors feel the same way, because they aren't left to guess how you feel.

I hope that the doctors do eventually find the cure for you. It seems pretty cruel to overcome MC and be able to eat everything, only to lose your sense of taste. NOT FAIR, I SAY!!

Well I think you dealt with it just fine and some things do take time, but then you and I seem to be cut from the same cloth - the impatient kind.
