It's been quite awhile since my last post but believe me I have been quite busy and dealing with some family situations. Plus I've been very busy making homemade Christmas Gifts this year. Made up my mind that I was going to make my gifts this year to help cut on the finances, besides that it's a GREAT way to prevent anyone from returning them to the store to get cash back. LOL Sorry, but I have some family members that have made it a habit of taking their gifts back to the store for refunds. Grrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am also very hurt, confused and angry about an issue that has developed in our county over the past few months.
Many of you will remember me posting on these boards requesting that as many as possible send cards to a young boy; Adrian Gerber who was loosing his battle with Luekemia and passed away just a few months ago. Recently it's been all over the headlines of our local news papers as well as news stations about Adrian's father who at this time I would like to hang by his thumbs. Actually, I wish I could go back years and years and flog the s.o.b. in the town square. This is the most current storyMMR Vice President charged available for you to read and know why I am so upset.
MMR VICE-PRESIDENT CHARGED
CARO — The vice president of MMR, along with another Caro man, could be facing some jail time.
Scott “Randy” Gerber, 44, and Shawn M. Gerber 32, have been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of analogues, three felony firearm possession charges and possession of marijuana.
“This all came about with a search warrant,” said Tuscola County Prosecutor Mark Reene. “Information was brought to the state police.”
Reene said both men turned themselves in after learning a warrant had been issued for their arrest.
The Thumb Narcotics Unit requested a warrant issued for the two men Nov. 17.
MMR, a non-profit ambulance company, has placed Scott Gerber on administrative leave since Nov. 23, pending the outcome of the charges against him.
The pair could face up to four years in prison on these charges.
Possession with intent to deliver and possession of cocaine both carry four- year sentences, while possession of analogues and felony firearms carry two year sentences.
Possession of marijuana is a one-year misdemeanor.

I am so upset by this mans audacity. There are even more charges pending with an ungoing investigation into wether or not this man (as in my opinion he doesn't even deserve to be called a father) actually with held medications for pain such as morphine and other analogues so he could sell them for financial gains. There are at least 3 or 4 Non-Profit Organizations that are looking into Civil Suites against this man for receiving benefit funds from fund raisers to help with medical cost etc. that they feel may have been used for buying and distributing drugs.
I know I did nothing wrong by asking those on this board to help grant one of Adrian's last wishes but I can't help feeling duped by this man who both David and I knew his father for several years and could not believe that Randy would ever be involved in something so dispicable.
I apologize to all of you who may be just as offended as I with these new developements as it was never my intention to hurt any of you.
Love and God Bless:
Jodi
