Anyone tried Udi's brand GF products?

I was talked into trying the bread by the owner of the local HF store when I discovered they were out of my usual Kinnikinnick bread...

Oh.my.word! Wow this stuff is good - they got the texture thing figured out - it's like the real thing (as best as I can remember!) - they also make a fabulous lemon streusel muffin. I believe the products are dairy and soy-free, as well. I think they are out of Colorado...

I am usually hesitant to try new GF stuff, as it is often an expensive mistake. Anyways, she said they can barely keep these products in stock!

Apparently Kathy, (kscolorado), has tried it, and loves it. She posted this on November 5th:

When I get home I will look at the ingredients to my Udi bread. I know for sure it doesn't contain pea flour, dairy, or soy. It is awesome and tastes the closest to real bread that I have ever had (I've had anna's and kinnickinnic and although the are good, they don't compare). Its moist and doesn't need to be toasted ect in order to eat. Udi's is a bakery in Denver and available in colorado grocery stores but you can order on line at http://udisglutenfree.elsstore.com/

Was in Denver for Xmas w/ youngest daughter and family. Had dinner at Root Down, a very ingredient conscious restaurant which serves Udi's gluten-free whole grain bread. It was fantastic. Just ordered their muffins, bread & pizza dough. Can't wait to try all. Denver seems to have gluten-free awareness, including gluten-free options during sporting events. PS-my daughter bought me Glutino gluten-free pretzels at local Whole Foods. They were excellent. Sheila

Any Corn in Udi's bread?

Oh, Bummer - I found the answer to the question and yes, corn in the form of dextrose and ascorbic acid.
