It might just be coincidence, but 3 days ago I ran out of my Freida Vit. D, where I had been taking 3000 U twice a day. The re-order was late arriving because of the holidays, but I was able to find some at the health food store that didn't have any of my intolerances, as I didn't want to skip any days with a vacation to Hawaii coming up next week. The new pills were 5000 U, so I decided take a bit more at 5000 U twice per day (10,000 U vs. 6000 U). All of a sudden, I have gone from 2 BM's per day to 1 much firmer per day. Could the extra Vit D be helping? Could it be a difference in the inactive ingredients? I don't know, but I'm happy. I think that I'll continue with the new Vit D, but cut back to just 1 5000 U pill per day and see what happens.
