Well, the race has begun.... restart Sunday. I'm excited and know you will be following it as well.

Their official website has improved in the last few years so it's easy and fairly accurate to follow. The "iditarod insider" is worth the extra $ - you can sign up online.

The #1 thing I miss most about Alaska? Not being front and center for the race start. It's just such an unforgettable experience.

Thanks for posting the website. This is one thing I miss about AK. The other is Fur Rondy in Anchorage.

Morning Joanna,

Have been following this weekend and just got finished reading my first alert. They send it daily to me and boy do I miss being there and part of the race.

Never will get Frank to do this.
