Possible MC/Hyperemesis connection?

Post by Stanz »

I have read several mentions of pregnancy difficulties on this forum. My daughter had Hyperemesis with both pregnancies and is now GF/SF. I have a dear friend who just had a baby last week who also had H and has enough other health issues that I wonder now if she has gluten problems.

Of the women here, I'm curious as to whether you experienced this. I did not have it, nor, as I recall, did any of my sisters.

Connie,

Many of us have MC-associated nausea/vomiting, so how do you tell if it's due to MC, or Hyperemesis. In my case, it was easy, but if a patient is female and pregnant, the problem becomes much more complex.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
