Entocort EC Savings Program

Post by Gloria »

My GI sent me an "Entocort ED Savings Program benefit card" which provides savings up to $500 off the out-of-pocket expense.

The program is only valid for patients with prescription drug coverage and is not valid for prescriptions purchased under Medicaid, Medicare, or similar state or federal funded healthcare programs, including Massachusetts. It's good for up to 3 prescriptions.

The patient presents the benefit card to the pharmacist when filling an Entocort prescription. The patient pays for the first $30 of the co-payment for Entocort and the savings program will then pay up to $500 of the balance.

I have mail order prescription coverage and haven't tried to use the card yet. I have a $50 copay, so it seems I would be eligible for the savings.

The program expires December 31, 2010.
