"has no" range from Aldi
Review:
this is a new range to Aldi australia - 'Has no.....'
this morning i made the bread mix which is GF/WF/DF/EF/YF/SF - no added sugar, suitable for vegans
it requires 425ml of water - so i used chicken stock and kept liquid from boiling veges (to give it extra flavour)
and a bit of oil (i used rice bran oil instead of vegetable oil)
and a little bit of mashed up sweet potato
given it is a bread mix, i had to let it proof first before baking
also i was baking the mix in the friad tins that i normally use for the savoury muffins
this shortened the cooking time
tried one as soon as it came out of the oven - yum yum, texture was really good - better than other GF/YF breads
no itchy mouth on eating and 30 mins later no GERD - so far so good, no tummy grumbles another good sign.
This mix is half the cost of the one I was getting from coles, Mixed up i dont think it makes as much in quantity but given the price difference it is still really good value.
cost per portion size for my morning tea works out about 80 - 90 cents which is pretty good

Hi Gabes,
I bought the bread mix, gravy mix and pancake mix. Haven't tried any of them. Did a roast on Sunday but didn't want to try out a new gravy on the in-laws when they just got here.
Might be a few weeks before I have enough time for experiments - or I may choose to ignore the in-laws being here and get more of: 'you cook such different things, dear'.

quick warm in the microwave and they were yummy...texture etc still good
he he he re the inlaw comment
it is hard enough for us to cope with our unique diet ...dont need people questioning it........
