end of day 2 on LDN .. cautiously optimistic

Post by Linda in BC »

Well, the only BM I had today was this morning. The rest of the day... nothing ..zip..not a rumble ..not a "fluff" (that is what my family calls farts) and I took nothing but the LDN last night.
This is even better than yesterday was. Yesterday, because I had to travel a hundred miles for work, I had to take an immodium, sadly, on my first day on LDN. So I told myself that yesterday would not count, even if it was good in the BM department. It was but not as good as today!

My hyper-ness seemed to settle down as the day progressed. I have an appointment to see my doctor at 11:00 am tomorrow. At least he will be able to tell me how I am to handle this transition period regarding the thyroid.

My blood pressure finally did go up this afternoon, after running around town all afternoon for work, so I took a med for it when I got home. But that is the first BP pill I have taken in two days (I usually have to take one in the morning and one in the evening.)

It was wonderful to not be running to the potty all day. Cleaned the toilet and it stayed clean! :cleantoilet:

Ooops, , I am trying not too get excited yet. Too soon. Dinner is now rumbling in my tummy as I write....

YEA, Linda. Sounds good (except the rumbling).
DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor and don't play one on TV.

Linda, it is good news and keep posting. I am really interested in your progress AND don't get discouraged if you have a bad day or two.......anything is better than 10-15 trips to the potty! Ginny
