Hi Angy,

It's good to hear from you again, and I'm glad to see that for the most part, you seem to be doing pretty well.

I wish I knew of something to suggest, that would tempt you to eat more, though - it's not good for you to always be starving.

I hope that Bonnie Scotland is treating you well.

Thanks for the update.

Hugs back atcha,
Tex

were you 'always hungry' pre MC?

I have the same feelings somedays, an hour after eating lunch i feel really hungry again.

I'm doing OK, as best I can tell - I'm just confused by my erratic test results. Some of them keep bouncing around all over the place. LOL. I really can't complain, though, because I feel pretty well, for the most part.

Hi Angy,

Nice to hear from you again! I know what you mean about being hungry all the time. I wish I could come up with a quick snack. Can't wait to be able to eat fruits and nuts again.

Hi Angy,

Nice to see a post from you and glad for the most part you are doing well. I too understand being hungry most of the time but it just seems for some of us to go hand in hand with mc.

Stay well and I love the Autumn too.

Love, Maggie

Thanks for the reply"s guys!!!

Tex those tests sound confusing.... onder if they are getting the actual tests correct....probably different lab guys doing each one...the good thing is your feeling well and thats the most important thing...Lets hope the changes and fluctuations in your levels will return to normal and then you can relax and not be anxious about the results...present and future...

gabes/joe

Im on a strict gf diet...i dont eat any rough fibre...cereal...crackers...nuts, dry fruits etc...thats a killer for my gut...i wasnt always hungry previous to mc....seems since i have been gf for early 2 years now...God i hate it when im in a supermarket though...im still struggling with it at times....but its like mind over matter...i know i cant eat those foods i see and really have just accepted the fact....I dont ever cheat either....someone said to me the other day...do you not just eat somethiing thats nice and worry about the consequences later...and make sure you are at home when you get the symptoms...I thought what!!! your having a laugh aint ya!! id rather be without the food than uffer the excruiting pain for 3 -5 days...it aint worth it... i mainly follow a brat diet////bananas..rice....apple juice...herbal tea..But i do eat cheese and gf bread...tomato soup...hell i even made my own gf quiche last nite....i was impressed...it was really tasty...guess i got a good meal for a couple of days...lol!!!

gloria...

Maybe its psychological...but i am lways hungry...i hardly eat very much...but i can eat chocolate...so thats great...but not too much...it kind of makes me feel that im getting treat...

Maggie

I agree with you there...we all accept it and make the most of what we can eat...its a real pain tring to explain to people the mc issue and the gf issue...cos they are kind of seperate...most people that know me will say!!!angie you can eat salad thats gluten free....i say no!! i cant it affects the colitis...i guess i get tired of trying to explain the situation all the time...most folks dont have a clue really...especially my work colleages....when they arrange nights out with a meal...sigh
 ...i dont go normally im unsociable...lol!!!

Ant

love that little smiley...exactly whats it een like here....its bit drier now so i can get my humongous amount of laundry done....lol...house is like a chinese laundry hehe!!!

Polly

thanks polly im doing pretty welll...ut had to call the doc o fiday..have a really bad bacterial infection...burning head neck throat chest...broke out in huge spots...could hardly swallow my pittance of a meal...kind of been like that for a couple of weeks...only it got worse...anyway prescribed some really strong antibiotics...only had 2 and its clearing up....my gp is an angel in disguise...he diagnoses me over the telephone...amazing huh!!!

catch up soon guys....tex!!! look after yourself please!!!! :grouphug:
