It has been 4 months since I have been off the PTU---the firat 3 blood workups showed perfect---the last one showed a slight rise in the numbers~~~ she didnt put me back on the PTU--due to this can cause Kidney issues---
Dr. Udica isnt worried about this---but she wants me to be aware of any weird things going on----like rapid heart beats/forgot the other --and with the kind of person I am *suggestion attacks me*
But I shall have another blood workup before leaving for AZ. and to heck with it all----been thru *stuff* and survived---
Hope everyone is doing fine---and my favorite saying has been---*U will find that WELLNESS road~~~

Hi Joe----
I will have to say *no* due to the fact that I was well mended from MC and the nodules --on thyroid had been detected just about a year/or 2 ago---I believe--We see our GP every 4 months---he is amazing~~~
As I have said many times--even tho spending most of my time on the throne I never suffered with any other body aches-----or other miseries that so many here suffer with--
We were in AZ. one year and I spent my time in bathroom/in bed/ so we jumped into the car and got home---of course with megga STOP!!! and it was at this point that what I was passing was very gravely--that scared the hell outta me but thankfully I was recommended a new Gastro Doc. who was furious as to the way the other gastro DIDNT treat me----The first gastros name is DR. KRAMM
Does that crack U up---
Take care Joe----

Barbara I'm glad that you now have a good GP and GI doctor. Your definitely fortunate not to have the aches and pains that seem to go with MC for many of us. I had to deal with the pain for over 10 years with no definitive diagnosis. I was Dx with fibromyalgia and sent on my way. I was able to connect the dots as it were once I began treatment with Entocort, initially I was not eating GF. If I had anything with gluten the pain would start within an hour. That was a real eye-opener, 10 years of dealing with this and it was gluten all along.
The name issue of your old GI doc is funny, I'll bet a few patients have a chuckle at that one.
JOE --Entocort was a killer for me---it caused me neurological problems--like I couldnt walk right and my speech was affected---and I only took it for 2 days when I called my neuro and he said--STOP NOW--and if by Monday U still feel the same --*get into my office pronto*
Thankfully I was fine---
And yes Dr. Kramm's name did have people say--well he is in the right business!!!
One time he took out a medical book and pointed to the name of a physician that discovered MC/CC--and kept saying SEE--SEE---yup I saw and said to him so what good is that doing for me??
And yet he still practices--beyond me!!!
Have a good night/great day too
